1. What is Internet? What are the various applications of internet?

2. Email is private communication between two parties using account on the internet. Describe advantages and disadvantages of email over conventional postal system. Explain components of email address with  example.

3. Web browser is used for browsing web pages. Explain major features of internet explorer browser of Microsoft. What is ' history ' in IE? Write steps to remove history pages from IE.

4. With reference to the internet what is a 'cookie' ? Briefly list some of the important utilities of cookies.

5. Explain the procedure for retrieving data with url, with suitable example.

6. What are the internet security threats? explain them.

7. Write a simple HTML program to illustrate the usage of forms and inputs.

8. Which browsers support DHTML and how will non-supporting browsers handle DHTML.

9. Write short notes on the scripting languages java script and VB script with examples.
