1. What is internet? Discuss in detail about the developing of internet application.

2. What is email? what is a " mail box"? How does an email address look like? What are the protocols used for sending/ receiving emails?

4. What is meant by HTML and HTTP? What are the four basic operations specified by a browser that HTTP supports?

5. (a) What do you understand by the term URL? what are the different components that make an URL?
    (b) What is the difference between Internet and World Wide Web? Explain.

6. (a) Explain with diagram the difference between star, ring and bus topologies.
    (b) What is a router? What is its use in networking ? What protocol is used by routers to select the best router and to communicate with each other?

    (b) What are the ways to find needed information on the internet? How can you find information, when you know or don't know its location URL?
