3. What is air pollution? Describe briefly the types of pollutants. Explain the major causes of air pollution.

4. Define ozone and ozone layer. Explain the causes of ozone layer depletion and its effects.

5. What is the composition of Ozone layer? Why is ozone layer necessary?

6. Classify pollution and pollutants. Describe causes, sources and effects of pollution.

7. What are the causes of noise pollution? What is the effect of noise pollution on human mind and body? State some effective measures to prevent noise pollution.

8. What is thermal pollution? What are the sources of thermal pollution? Describe the control measures that can be taken for thermal pollution.

9. Define Environmental Management Plan (EMP). What are the general principles for the preparation of an environmental management plan?
