1. Define pollution. Give an account of environmental pollutants and also mention which types of pollution are most commonly found in your city.

2. What is noise pollution? Mention its sources and their effect of humans.

3. Define air pollution. Give a brief account of types of air pollution and how does air pollution affect global warming?

4. Write short notes on:
     (a) Radioactive pollution
     (b) Photochemical smog
     (c) Role of people in the protection of environment.
     (d) Biological oxygen demand(BOD)

5. How can we evaluate the parameters of pollution caused by the gaseous oxides of carbon, nitrogen and sulphur? Explain.

    (a) Thermal pollution
    (b) Environment Research
    (c) Ganga Action Plan
    (d) Biocides

7. Describe in details the structure and function of an ecosystem.

8. What are the different ecological factors? Mention in brief the role of light as ecological factor.

9. Discuss in environment (protection) Act, 1906 was enacted? Evaluate in detail the scope and scheme of the act with its regulating power.
