1. (a) Describe H/W and S/W requirement of internet. What is the role of IPS in internet?
    (b) Define the terms website, webpage web server, URL  and homepage.

2. (a) Discuss in brief the e-mail architecture and also explain its main component and importance.
    (b) How the problems of internet security threats can be solved? Discuss them.

3. (a) What do you mean by Search Engines? Discuss the technology used in it.
    (b) Differentiate between http, ftp, telnet and Usenet services.

4. (a) Discuss the various efforts for creating a webpage for  an educational institute.
    (b) What is the difference between web browser and web server? List any three web browser and              Web Server with their services.

5. Discuss the various methods used for linking. How can you add links, images and design elements      to your webpage?

6. (a) Discuss the following:
    (i) HTML
    (ii) Font Control
    (iii) Interactive Layout with frames.

    (b) Explain FRAME and IFRAME tags and attributes.

7. (a) What do you mean by HTML and DHTML? Discuss the importance of HTML in developing a           Website.
    (b) Discuss the following terms:
    (i) Text formatting
    (ii) Background and colour control
    (iii) Publishing

8. What is the use of scripting language? How is server side scripting language in differ from client side scripting language with their advantages and disadvantages.

9. (a) What do you mean by CGL? list the steps needed for processing the form using CGL.
    (b) Write a program to store date in any database using ASP.
