5. Discuss briefly broadcast video and standards NTSC, PAL SECAM and HDTV.

6. List and describe the three types of authoring systems and discuss the advantages of each one.

7. Discuss different types of multimedia structures. How are they organized?

8. What is compression? Distinguish between lossy and lossless compression techniques.

9. Explain the various stages of developing a multimedia project.
