1. "Organisational Behaviour represents an inter-discipline study of the inter-action between the individuals and group of an organization." Discuss this statement highlighting the nature and conceptual framework of organization behaviour in brief.

2. How is an attitude formed and measured? Explain , with examples, how the job-related attitudes are significant for understanding the organisational behaviour.

3. Distinguish between the profiles of the managers and the entrepreneurs. Why do some qualified personae prefer to work independently as entrepreneurs and not as subordinates in the capacity of managers in well established offices?

4. Explain the concept of a team and discuss the nature and functions of the various types of teams which exist in the framework of an organization . How are the teams more effective in problem solving and decision making functions of an organization?

5. Explain the personality traits that shape the behaviour of individuals . Give some examples to show how the personality determines the behaviour of a individual in an organization?

6. "Motivation is the core of management" comment. How have Maslow and Herzberg explained the concept of motivation.

7. Do you think that change is necessary for the success and long-life of an organisation? If so, then why are the organisation changes resisted by the people and given birth to serious conflicts?

8. Explain the concept of 'group Behaviour and spell out the reasons for formation of different types of groups in an organization. What is the importance of groups in an organization?

9. " The most efficient and successful leader is that who shows great concern for the task and the people in the organization." How far is the statement correct? Identify some of the important leadership styles and indicate the conditions under which they are appropriate.

10. Write notes on any two of the following:

      b) Group Dynamics
      c) McGregor's Theory X and Theory Y
      d) Models of Organizational Behaviour
